Founder of whats app

jan koum

Jan Koum, founder of WhatsApp, was born and raised in Ukraine from a relatively poor family. At the age of 16, he desperately moved to America, in pursuit of what we know as the "American Dream".
At the age of 17 years, he can only eat from government rations. He almost became a bum. Sleeping on a sky roof, grounded. To survive, he works as a supermarket cleaner. "Life is so bitter", Koum mused.
Her life was growing steadily when her mother was diagnosed with cancer. They survive only with modest health benefits. Koum went to college at San Jose University. But then he chose to drop out, because prefers to learn programming autodidak.
Because of his expertise as a programmer, Jan Koum was accepted to work as an engineer at Yahoo !. He worked there for 10 years. In the same place, he befriended Brian Acton.
Both make WhatsApp application in 2009, after resign from Yahoo !. Both had applied to Facebook that was climbing in popularity at the time, but refused. Facebook may now very regret ever refused their application.
After WhatsApp officially purchased Facebook for 19 billion dollars (about Rp 224 trillion) a few days ago, Jan Koum performed a moving ritual. He came to the place where he used to be, at the age of 17, every morning to get in line to get food rations from the government. He leaned his head against the wall where he used to stand in line. Remembering the hard times, where even to eat alone he had no money .. Slowly, his tears melted. He never thought his company was bought with such a high value.
He then recalled his mother who had died of cancer. His mother is willing to sew clothes for him in order to save. "No money, son ...". Jan Koum is stunned. He regretted never being able to preach this happy news to his mother.
Sustenance comes from unexpected directions and forms. The poor teenager who used to have the quota of food is now a Trillionaire
